Cervical Spondylosis

Abstract
Hypertrophic changes in Luschka¢¥s joints and transverse ridges, or that caused by subluxation of vertebra leading to compromise of the spinal canal and its neural elements is well recognized pathological entities affecting the cervical spine.
These hard protrusion is not uncommon in older people and frequently misdiagnosed as degenerative myelopathy, amyotrophic sclerosis, or lateral sclerosis on the basis of arteriosclerotic vascular insufficiency due to its symptomatic complexity.
The exact etiology for the formation of the bony spurs or ridges and the methodology of its removal are still under discussion.
